I am not yet 65. I have Medicare due to disability. I am57. I had Humana and Anthem Medicare advantage plans which did not work for me at the time. I would like to speak to someone about my options now.

David,
Check out Anthem Blue Cross and their Freedom Blue PPO Medicare Advantage Plan. It does have a deductible and some out of pocket expenses but I do think it's what you are looking for. Call me if you have any questions. 1-866-861-0477

I have a dependent spouse of an employee on one of my small group plans. She is 50 years old, on SS disability with Medicare parts A and B, and I was able to get her approved/covered on a pre-65 Humana Medicare Advantage PFFS Plan last year. She received notice that Humana will no longer be offering this coverage in California. She is receiving all her care from the Loma Linda University health care system, (Faculty Medical Group and hospital.) They don't participate in any HMO Medicare Advantage Plans.
Other than enroll her as a spouse via a qualified event off anniversary, do you have any options for her situation? I'm not comfortable with a Med/Supp plan because she spends several days/year in the hospital, and I don't want her to use up her life-time supply of hospital days, plus the Part D coverage leaves her over exposed with her Rx costs.
I know I can add her as a spouse, but this will probably cost the employer about $10,000 at renewal. Do you have any suggestions? I will gladly refer her to you, as I shy away from Medicare coverage because of my lack of expertise (I'm not MA certified.)

Thanks,
David

I'm an injured worker with a workers comp. claim coming close to settling, after almost 7 years. I was approved for Soc. Security in Feb. 2010, but I still get my meds through the Workers Comp. Insurance company. When my case settles I'm looking at having a MSA account. I am looking for a plan that covers Meds. because it is my biggest expense monthly. I entered numbers into the web site at Medicare.gov and got back estimates of medication costs from 7k to 10k a year. Is there any plan that could reduce this amount?

Also note I am supposed to be approved for Medical coverage through my Union, but they say they are secondary to Medicare, does that mean meds too. Wondered if you might know? Thanks for any help!

I have been declared disabled by Social Security. The disability date went back to August, 2008. I am now covered under a policy I had with my previous employer, but I understand that I will automatically go on Medicare this coming August, and I am 62 years old and will need a supplemental policy for fear of not having enough insurance.

I have rheumatoid arthritis and I had a mild TIA stroke 2.5 years ago.

Will I be able to obtain a supplemental policy since I am not 65 years old and have had these previous health issues?

I would like to have the best of carriers, and be able to extend it through the post-65 age years.

Am I insurable?
